By Khrysso Heart LeFey. Digitized collage. Khrysso’s sister, a lifelong artist who came to specialize in fiber arts, had a potholder loom when she was young, and they had no shortage of colorful potholders in their home. When an artist uses paper as fiber they’re creating textile art, and that’s how this piece began. He developed this image digitally, and the day he finished it happened to be his friend Holly’s birthday. The structures and colors are like a well-orchestrated party, evoking the Anahata, or Heart Chakra, and bring bright magic into a life space. Available as a discreet 4×4″ or as large as 30×30″.
